FTC Wins ABC Chesapeake Shores Excellence Award

Congratulations are in order for our Civil Division! On Thursday, September 15, 2022 Ferguson Trenching was awarded an Excellence Award at the annual ABC Chesapeake Shores Excellence in Construction and Safety Awards Banquet for the outstanding work completed on the Humphreys Engineer Center Support Activity (HECSA) Demolition of Subsurface Concrete Structure & Above Grade Perimeter Fence Removal project.

The ABC Excellence in Construction Awards recognizes and celebrates outstanding projects built by ABC Chesapeake Shores’ members. The awards competition serves to raise the construction standards throughout the industry by honoring quality craftsmanship produced by merit shop contractors and their employees. Ferguson Trenching went through a rigorous submission process compiling safety information, project scope and narrative to include unique aspects and challenges, job photographs, specialized trainings, and more.

Our team won the Excellence Award in the Federal Government/Military category. Foreman Jamie Knotts (pictured left) accepted the award on stage from ABC Chesapeake Shores Chairman Mike O’Quinn of Coakley & Williams Construction.
