FTC Receives STEP Platinum Accreditation

We are proud to announce that Ferguson Trenching Company achieved an ABC STEP Platinum accreditation for 2023 by ABC Chesapeake Shores! The Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) is a world-class safety management system that dramatically improves safety performance among participants. Participating ABC member firms measure their safety processes and policies on 25 key components through a detailed questionnaire with the goal of implementing or enhancing safety programs that reduce jobsite incidents. STEP is a great tool to use to keep up with current safety techniques and trends within the industry. Our team is committed to strengthening and expanding our safety practices and culture. By receiving a STEP Platinum recognition, we can say that we are 619% safer than the industry average!
